Amit Khanna has been ourmember since 2006.

Before Amit started training with us, we took his fitness assessment test and found that he weighed 128 kgs with a body fat percentage of nearly 37% at 5’8” in height!

He did not have any experience in weight training before.

On interviewing him, he told us that his goal is to lose as much weight as possible within 3 months and look better in time for his sister’s wedding.

But we do not give a particular time-frame to achieve the desired body weight and fat percentage.
- The reason is that there are so many factors involved in order to achieve your fitness goals like the client’s attitude, the drive and determination to achieve his goal, the discipline, his punctuality, his lifestyle, eating and sleeping habits etc.

Only fitness training alone can never help in achieving your fitness goals.

In order words, the client spends only 1 hour of the day with his Personal Trainer and the remaining 23 hours, the ball lies in his court!

The onus to change lies only on the client and whereas his Personal Trainer is only an agent of that change.

So we made a detail note about how to help Amit achieve his goals.
We noticed that he had the right attitude, the motivation and the drive to achieve his fitness goals. So half of the battle was easily won!

We gave some tips on how he should handle his lifestyle, his eating habits and of course gave him a beginner’s workout consisting of weight and cardio training on alternate days.

For the first month, his weight training workout was doing upper and lower body workouts on alternate weight training days. As he gained strength and stamina, we split is workouts into different body-parts.

But then we realized that he was not losing his body weight and body fat the way we expected to. Even after nearly 3 months of training, Amit lost just about 4-5 kilos!

So later we decided to try Circuit Training, increased his cardio training time and tweaked his diet.

Later, his body responded to this kind of regimen and he started losing tons of weight gradually.
Now after nearly 6 months of training with us, Amit Khanna, now weighs 101 kgs with a body-fat percentage of nearly 30%!

Now Amit is determined to get his weight down to 80 kgs within a short span of time. And we are sure he can do it!
