|Say no to over training|
Over training or training beyond the required amounts simply over stresses your body. It uses up your stamina and consumes your body beyond the maximum limit. So, if you are over training, instead of gaining from exercising, you will end up damaging your body. But how does one find out whether he or she is indulging in overtraining?
One indication of overtraining is your resting pulse that measures more than normal. This basically means if your pulse in the morning is 10 or more beats more than normal then you may be suffering from overtraining. Other indications are unusual and uncalled for fatigue and a lack of enthusiasm for your workouts, low stamina levels throughout the day and joint paints.
This overtraining syndrome must be tackled immediately to prevent serious health hazards. To begin with, try cutting back for a week and see if you feel better. If you have fever or even slight but lingering joint pains which were not there before your rigorous workout sessions then you must see your doctor. Any similar symptoms too must not be ignored.
Remember, workouts are supposed to keep you in shape and not burden your body. Hence, plan your exercise schedule wisely and your efforts will not be wasted.
